Altair Startup Challenge ASC2021 for Electric Vehicles-Last Date to apply April 10,2021

Altair have collaborated with Confederation of Indian Industry – CII,  Startup IndiaInvest India, Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) and IIT Madras Incubation Cell for Altair Start-up Challenge 2021 – For EVs. This is an initiative to create awareness of appropriate cutting-edge technologies, relevant processes, enable the start-ups to accomplish their goals of product development in a structured manner. This facilitates competency building and the development of competitive products.

 

Altair Provides solutions to some of global trends such as Additive Manufacturing > Autonomous & ADAS > Big Data > Cloud Computing > Data Transformation > Digital Twin > e-Mobility > Exascale > GPU Solutions > Light weighting > Machine Learning > Manufacturing Analytics > Mechatronics > Smart Product Development > 5G … etc. So All start-ups actively working in the above technologies and contributing to EV ecosystem are eligible to participate in this challenge.

The objective of the Program:

Provide a platform through a structured challenge for Indian EV Start-ups to accelerate and innovate with simulation-driven design and accelerated product development process, Altair solutions, Technology, Altair Mentorship, Reward & Connect with industry ecosystem to Excel. This is done via Altair Start-up Challenge – An initiative of this nature will create awareness of appropriate cutting edge technologies, relevant processes, enable the start-ups to accomplish their goals of product development in a structured manner. This facilitates competency building and the development of competitive products.

 

Altair has successfully collaborated with Start-up India and reached out to 300 start-ups, shortlisted and mentored over 40 start-ups in 2019 and 2020.  Over a period of six months, Altair invested close to 1500 hrs in 2019 and 2000 hrs in 2020 in training, mentoring and reviewing shortlisted start-ups. Finally, winners were chosen by Jury of Industry experts awarded cash prizes and given software of considerable value free of cost. Participants and winners were exposed to Simulation driven design process  and intricacies of concurrent product development and were provided with serval insights to fine tune their products.
