| The Novartis NBSX team, in partnerships with Startup India and AGNIi, invites startups and innovators to apply for the NBSX Sustainability Challenge. We are looking at disruptive solutions that can help Novartis become carbon negative. Novartis will pursue ideas that deliver a co-benefit related to health as well as help it accomplish enduring carbon removals. These could include Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) like regenerative agriculture, reforestation, mangrove restoration, blue carbon projects, and urban reforestation to restore tree canopies to reduce heat islands. Alternatively, they can also include research and development of mechanical sequestration methods to efficiently and economically remove carbon at large scales in industrial operations.
