{"id":1452,"date":"2021-08-26T13:12:13","date_gmt":"2021-08-26T13:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/funding.venturecenter.co.in\/news\/?p=1452"},"modified":"2021-08-26T13:12:13","modified_gmt":"2021-08-26T13:12:13","slug":"venture-center-announces-second-cohort-of-stanford-seed-spark-program-enroll-now-%e2%80%8b-expression-of-interest-due-date-august-262021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/funding.venturecenter.co.in\/news\/venture-center-announces-second-cohort-of-stanford-seed-spark-program-enroll-now-%e2%80%8b-expression-of-interest-due-date-august-262021\/","title":{"rendered":"Venture Center announces Second cohort of Stanford Seed Spark Program | Enroll Now |\u200b Expression of Interest Due Date: August 26,2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"boldgrid-section\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12 col-xs-12 col-sm-12\">\n<p>Greetings from Venture Center!!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Venture Center&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>is happy to&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>bring you the<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second cohort of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/seedspark.stanford.edu\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/seedspark.stanford.edu\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1630063295735000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHQJui6ITyY6GjfVA17h0QXU-KBSQ\">Stanford Seed Spark<\/a>&nbsp;an online learning program designed by Stanford Seed&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>&#8211;&nbsp;an initiative of Stanford Graduate School of Business<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Seed&nbsp;Spark curriculum has been developed by Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) faculty who work with startups and teach the flagship course, Startup Garage, at the GSB to MBAs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Stanford Seed Sark program is a four-month online program designed for early-stage entrepreneurs with tools to build their strategy, grow their network and ultimately boost their business or business acumen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Venture Center continues its partnership&nbsp;with the&nbsp;<b><em>Stanford Seed Spark&nbsp;<\/em><\/b>program for their second cohort to facilitate this opportunity for the Venture Center start-ups.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Details about the program are given in the attached flyer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some key highlights of the program:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li>Stanford Seed Spark is a 4-month, online program designed for early stage entrepreneurs<\/li>\n<li>Time commitment from entrepreneurs: &nbsp;5-8 hours\/week &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience that features:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">(1) Live video conference sessions with business experts to launch each learning module<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(2) Active, practical learning modules online with key activities and tools for early stage entrepreneurs<\/p>\n<p>(3) Huddles with peers to foster networking and share progress<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(4) 1:1 Mentorship support through meetings about program toolkits\/activities to implement business advice swiftly in their growing start-ups<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(5) Spark participants who complete activities will be paired with a mentor who will offer business advice based up on those activities<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(6) The program culminates with a cash prize competition and entrepreneurs submitting a pitch video to be displayed on a public facing website. Interested members from Stanford Seed&#8217;s network of companies will be encouraged to interact with entrepreneurs about their venture\/pitch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(7)&nbsp;<u>Participants upon successful completion of the program will receive a &#8220;Certificate of Completion&#8221; issued by Stanford Seed GSB Executive Director and India&#8217;s Regional Director.<\/u><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(8) Interested business leaders from Seed\u2019s network of companies will be encouraged to interact with passing out entrepreneurs about their venture\/pitch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">(9) Several practical tools to refine and develop your business or business idea &amp; be part of a community of like-minded founders, sharing&nbsp;ideas and strategies to move business forward. Also, each entrepreneur will be granted access to the platform, NovoEd which helps in accessing video lectures and other contents, participating in like-minded entrepreneurs, and meet with mentors&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Which startups should apply ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li>Have a Minimum Viable Product\/service already in place.<\/li>\n<li>Officially registered business with clean records of handling financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Small dedicated team.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Looking for mentors to help them grow.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with an entirely online learning program. Have an undisrupted internet connection and proficiency in using digital tools.<\/li>\n<li>An entrepreneur who is&nbsp; working full time in the start-up nominated for Spark program.
