{"id":1841,"date":"2022-05-31T10:40:45","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T10:40:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/funding.venturecenter.co.in\/news\/?p=1841"},"modified":"2022-05-31T10:40:45","modified_gmt":"2022-05-31T10:40:45","slug":"cepis-open-calls-for-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/funding.venturecenter.co.in\/news\/cepis-open-calls-for-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"CEPI&#8217;s Open Calls for Proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"boldgrid-section\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12 col-xs-12 col-sm-12\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>CEPI\u2019s Open Calls for Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) is a global alliance between public, private, philanthropic, and civil society organizations to accelerate the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases and enable equitable<br \/>\naccess to these vaccines for affected populations during outbreaks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\nIn partnership with CEPI, Department of Biotechnology (DBT), initiated the implementation of the Ind-CEPI Mission entitled \u201cEpidemic preparedness through rapid vaccine development: Support of Indian vaccine development aligned with the global<br \/>\ninitiative of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\nFrom time to time, CEPI issues calls for proposals inviting applicants to submit funding proposals for projects to develop specific vaccine candidates or research that can directly support vaccine development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\nCEPI has recently issued the following Calls for Proposals:<br \/>\n\uf0b7 RNA vaccine platform technologies and vaccine library development against<br \/>\nemerging and select endemic infectious diseases, Focus Area-2 (open until<br \/>\nDecember 31, 2022)<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Innovative technologies to improve vaccine thermostability (open until December<br \/>\n31, 2022)<br \/>\n\uf0b7 State-of the-Art Immunogen Design using Computational Antigen Simulation<br \/>\nTechnologies for Vaccine Development Against Emerging Infectious Diseases<br \/>\n(open until July 31, 2022).<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\nThe Department of Biotechnology solicits participation of Indian scientists\/vaccine<br \/>\ndevelopers, for submission of applications to CEPI under the call.
