The ASME ISHOW accelerator and IDEA LAB incubator have provided support to over 230 hardware-led social ventures from nearly 40 countries since 2015. From rigorous Design & Engineering Review methodology to helping ventures navigate challenges to optimize their long-term environmental and financial sustainability, ISHOW & IDEA LAB experts and mentors build the capacities of social entrepreneurs on their journey to market and increase their likelihood of scale.
Innovators will have a no cost, no equity opportunity to access seed grants (up to $10K with a chance to earn a second round investment), technical support, and expert guidance.
ASME ISHOW 2024:
● What is ISHOW?
ISHOW is an accelerator of hardware-led social innovations that address urgent
challenges and will have a positive social, economic, and environmental impact.
● Who should apply?
Innovators or organizations with prototyped hardware solutions who intend to scale to
market.
● Benefits:
No cost, equity-free seed grants, technical support, design services, and access to expert
industry networks.

ASME IDEA LAB 2024:
● What is IDEA LAB?
IDEA LAB is an incubator for earlier stage ventures that have not yet built their first
prototype and addresses critical components of the pre-prototype design process
through a customized learning and mentorship program focused on technology
development and instilling sustainable design practices from the very start.
● Who should Apply:
Aspiring entrepreneurs in the early stages, brimming with ideas but lacking resources to
build their first prototype.
● Benefits:
No cost, equity-free grant, capacity building, networking opportunities, mentor guidance,
and resources for technology development.
● Deadline: Applications are open until March 15.
