Venture Center is happy to call for applications for Agritech Launch Pad

– An Initiative of Social Innovations @ Venture Center –

 Agritech Launch Pad is a mentoring program with the following objectives:

• Duration of mentoring program: 3 months (4 hours per week) (Program starts on 1^st April 2021) 
• To initiate exploration of needs and problems in the Agritech via interactions with the experts and field immersions
• To explore potential industry‐academia/research partnerships in technology development and advancement in this domain
• To foster networks with industry/academic experts/ entrepreneurs
• To make available a common platform for innovators, enthusiasts and experts pan-India

Who can apply:

• Graduates in sciences, engineering or medicine. Students in their final year can also apply.
• Prior work experience or Post-graduation in sciences engineering or medicine would be a plus
• Basic hard-skills and orientation for hands-on technology development; Prototype development orientation would be a plus
• Commitment and comfort for working on building technology/ventures focused on Socially relevant themes like Sustainability and Agriculture etc.

Program structure and format:

• Interactive mentoring sessions with mentors and domain experts: 20 hours
• Talks on the following aspects of entrepreneurship from experts in the startup ecosystem and domain experts: 10 sessions

1. 1. Entrepreneurship Essentials; Value Proposition; Business Planning
   2. Basics of IP, FTO
   3. Regulatory processes
   4. Basic tips from financial expert
   5. Funding opportunities
   6. Essential skills and tools to make an entrepreneur

• Facilitating  via pointers and connects 10 Field immersion visits (to be done by the mentee) for actual field-based problem identification
