Funding to support “response for COVID-19” in India by Global Fund

Office of PSA, GoI is pleased to inform that US Government has given Global Fund $US3.5B to support COVID-19 response in low- and middle-income countries. Global Fund is one of the leading multilateral agencies working to procure and distribute COVID-19 tests, treatments and PPE to protect health workers in affected countries. This funding provided by US to the Global Fund will support countries to ensure that the infected population has access to care and treatment including adequate oxygen supplies.

India is a Global Fund grantee and is eligible to apply for this funding. All details on how to apply are given here- https://www.theglobalfund.org/en/covid-19/response-mechanism/how-to-apply/ . Applicants can request funding through a Full Funding Request during the four submission windows – 14th May, 31st May, 15th June, and 30th June 2021, as well as make a Fast-track Funding Request on a rolling basis.
